The first rule of my class is that participation is mandatory. Everyone must take notes.
Students that do not participate not only do not learn, but become a distraction to those that are actually trying to learn.
Respect each other, the staff, and the building, but most of all respect yourself.
When others are talking, we do not interrupt nor do we dismiss what they say. We care enough about ourselves and others to do our best to get the most out of our education.
Come prepared.
Less time spent tracking down something to write on or with means more time for learning.
No cell phone use...calculators are provided.
Cell phones can be useful, but more often than not seem to be a distraction.
All work must be shown.
This allows mistakes to be pinpointed and helps us to learn from them.
